About the Roosevelt High School Band
The Roosevelt High School Band Program is one of the most comprehensive programs in the region. The program consists of 4 Concert Bands, 3 Jazz Bands, Jazz Combo, Woodwind Choir, Brass Choir, 4 Percussion Ensembles, Winter Color Guard, Marching Band and Pep Band. The band has 100% participation in Solo/Ensemble Contest. The Symphonic Band has received Category 1 Top Ratings at Region Large Group Contest for over 20 years straight.
The band is known throughout the region for their standard of excellence and innovation in design. Founded in 1991, the Roosevelt Band is always on the forefront of the activity in the region. The Roosevelt Band holds several distinct honors in the state of South Dakota.

On November 9th the Roosevelt High School Marching Band traveled to MetLife Stadium in New Jersey to compete in the US Bands National Championships.
